Wilderness First Responder Course

 

 

Course Dates: 4/26-5/4/22

 

Course Description: The WFR is a 9-day comprehensive course through the Nantahala Outdoor Center that teaches students to assess and treat injuries and illness in the wilderness and covers the standards of backcountry medicine.

• CPR

• Basic Wilderness Survival Skills

Cost:

$775 Participants must be 18 years or older.

Full amount is due by 3/25/22.

Cancellation Policy:
All programs go rain or shine. Please see below for our cancellation and refund policy.

0-13 Days before Course Start: Participant will be responsible for the full amount of reservation.

14-29 Days before Course Start: Participant will receive a full refund, less a 10% cancellation fee.

 

Room & Board:

Participants will be responsible for securing their own housing during the course. Students staying at the Nantahala Outdoor Center will get 20% of Basecamp lodging and 10% off Dogwood Motel & their Cabins.
